america’s second harvest parade float - my favorite event!
For three consecutive years, America's Second Harvest of Coastal Georgia has proudly claimed the title of Best Float in the Brunswick Christmas Parade. The challenge? To design a float that not only dazzles with creativity but also raises awareness for the foundation’s mission. This sparked the idea: Together, we CAN end hunger. The first year featured a stunning Christmas tree crafted from over 300 cans of green beans, all later donated to the food pantry. The following years built on this momentum, with a cozy living room scene featuring a fireplace made from 400 ravioli cans and a whimsical gingerbread house constructed from 600+ assorted soups. Each year, we push the limits of imagination—captivating audiences while increasing our impact through larger food donations.
